Where and when can I see the famouse Cape Parrot?
Early Morning (Sunrise / Dawn) Cape Parrots become active just before sunrise. They leave their roost sites to congregate and fly out in search of food (like yellowwood seeds). Morning activity typically peaks from dawn up to a few hours after sunrise.
Late Afternoon (Dusk / Pre-sunset) Parrots return toward their roosting sites later in the day. Sightings are common around 4:00 PM and during the three hours leading up to sunset.
